In august 18, 1932, Don Gabriel ANAYA VALDEPEÑA founded his professional office in the heart of the Historical Center of Mexico City: The Iturbide Palace, in the streets of Madero, where today stands The National Bank of Mexico was the building where the firm first established. The firm represented the employers then, giving them counsel and advice within the specialty of labor and employment The expansion of the legal firm AV was due to the honesty and prestige gained in the handling of the legal cases.

In 1970 Federico Anaya-Sanchez assumed the presidency of the Firm which assured its consolidation. In recent years after the commercial opening of Mexico, the firm decided to offer legal services, in all the juridical branches, for which he incorporated brilliant lawyers in the desire of carrying those juridical specialties with professionalism, honesty and effectiveness. Federico Anaya-Sanchez left the firm presidency in February, 2002 for natural reasons.

On august 2002, our firm proudly celebrated its 70 anniversary. Federico Anaya Ojeda assumed the presidency. Continuing with the same approach as predecessors the new president and the partnership is heading towards new frontiers. The NAFTA treaty has brought Canada, the United States and Mexico closer together.
